Venture
Center and Intox have teamed up to support lecture series focussed on Innovation
and Entrepreneurship in the Venture Center's extended innovation ecosystem.
Under
its Corporate Social Responsibility activities Intox has provided funding for
Lecture series to inspire, inform and energize a new generation of technology
innovators and entrepreneurs at Venture Center. This collaboration was launched
in FY2017-18.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Venture
Center will organize and run a series (during FY 2018-19) under the name
Startups 101 of FREE talks/events to encourage and promote first generation
technology innovators and entrepreneurs to pursue their ideas.
Start-up 101 series is an induction series designed for
young entrepreneurs who are initiating their entrepreneurial journeys. The aim
is to expose them to the basic details and requirements in this journey from
aspects of human resources, financial compliances, term sheets, how to raise
money, technology commercialization, networking, how to pitch, preparing a
business plan, venturing basics and such related aspects of entrepreneurship.
Some practical tips and pointers based on real-life experiences will be shared
by the speakers in this series. The idea is to enthuse and inspire young
entrepreneurs and provide them a common launch pad to take off.

Chemical Laboratory, Pune. Venture Center strives to nucleate and nurture
technology and knowledge-based enterprises by leveraging the scientific and
engineering competencies of the institutions in the Pune region in India. The
Venture Center is a technology business incubator approved by the Department
of Science & Technology's National Science & Technology
Entrepreneurship Development Board (DST-NSTEDB). Venture Center's focuses on
technology enterprises offering products and services exploiting scientific
expertise in the areas of materials, chemicals and biological sciences &
