Activities

NCL-TEC plans and runs activities for its members from time to time. The activities and chosen and prioritized by the Executive Committee. Selected activities include:

Competitions	Technology Idea Competition (Concepto); Business planning competition
E2: Evening with an Entrepreneur	5.30 pm – 7 pm; Informal one-to-one interaction; Share experiences and learning; Over tea/coffee and snacks
Workshop: Polish yourself	1 – day workshop; Several speakers on various soft skills that students need.
Talks: Industry and market trends	1 hour talk discussing industry and market overview, status, trends and outlook. (ex: CRO, pharma, med biotech, industrial biotech, agro biotech etc)
Talks: Winners of B-Plan competitions; Fresh PhD entrepreneurs	30 min talk and interaction with fresh PhD entrepreneurs, winners of B-Plan competitions elsewhere etc
Group activity: Industrial visits	Visit to actual industry site; observe real scale plants/ factories; interact with industry persons; combine with group outing.
Business planning workshops and participation in business plan competitions	Workshops on market feasibility analysis, business models and finally, business plan. Putting together teams and participating in business plan competitions.
Motivational and inspirational talks/ movie/ video shows	Events with a focus on inspiration and sharing of learning/ lessons.
Group visits to meetings, conferences, business plan showcases, workshops	Example: Visit to E-summit at IIT-Bombay
