Thematic Focus Areas: Polymer Technology
Within the broad area of “Polymer Technology”, the following themes are of special interest :
– Developing environment-friendly/sustainable solutions
– Solutions that provide credible documentation/reporting  of the environmental impact (esp footprint in terms of waste, carbon etc)
– Demonstrating impactful and high-visibility solutions for society  using  synthetic polymers

Preference may be given based on :
– Relevance to the polyurethane industry
– Capacity creation of a lasting nature of relevance to the industry

Who is eligible?– Startups / Company / LLP registered under the relevant acts in India
– R&D organizations engaging with Venture Center under TechEx.in program
(Note: Others can apply but on selection will need to formally associate with Venture Center)
Individuals with track record/plans to build competency/ research programs  on  industry relevant polymer technology.  
Topics not eligible– Topics of no relevance to polymer technology
– Projects that have no element of new technology development and advancement

Other requirements– The Applicant/ Grantee shall be an organization.
– If Applicant is a company, the Company/LLP should be registered under the relevant acts in India.
– Every Applicant must nominate a competent Project Leader (PL) who will take responsibility for executing the project
– PL has to be an individual (one person).
– PL is required to be at least 18 years of age as on the date of call for applications.
– Startup applicants need to meet Eligibility / Admissions Criteria of Venture Center for incubatee companies.
– Applicant is required to be at least 18 years of age as on the date of call for applications.
– Applicant must be associated formally with an organization (as employee, student etc)  
DurationMaximum of 6 months extendable by 2 months after review.

Additional Criteria
– The applicant should be formally associated with Venture Center for the entire duration of the project by signing up for a suitable program and/or signing appropriate agreements:
– Startups:  One of the incubation programs
– R&D/ academic organizations:  MoU for Partners of the TechEx.in program
– Individuals:  Ignition program of Venture Center
– The PL and Applicants should not have received another grant for the same objective and scope of the project.
– The grant cannot be used for the following heads:
– Pay/ repay any loans/commitments made before signing the project agreement
– Pay rent or related costs for own accommodation
– Creation of new infrastructure facility, shed etc
– Expenses incurred before the start date of the project
