Bharat Seats Ltd. – Venture Center CSR Collaboration aims to support entrepreneurs / start ups working on socially important solutions from polymer technology.
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility activities Bharat Seats Ltd. has provided funding for entrepreneurs working on products and solutions based on Polymer Science & Technology at Venture Centre. This collaboration was launched in F.Y. 2022-2023.
Program :
Grants for innovators/ entrepreneurs for supporting technology incubation in the field of  polymer technologies with an emphasis on capacity creation for research-based innovation, document/ develop  environment-friendly/sustainable solutions and demonstrate socially important solutions from polymer technology.
    Objective :
    To support technology incubation activities of Venture Center via targeted grant support in the broad area of polymer technology with an emphasis on:
    – Develop/document   environment-friendly/sustainable solutions
    – Demonstrate socially important solutions leveraging polymer technology
    – Capacity creation for research-based innovation
    – Promoting  and strengthening industry-academia interactions
    – And any other topics deemed relevant by the Committee overseeing this collaboration

    Categories of Projects planned to be supported :

    Category A : Bharat Seats Polymer Tech Grants ( Grant upto Rs.6-9 lakhs )
    Category B : Bharat Seats Polymer Tech Fellows ( Support upto Rs. 1 lakh )

    Monitoring and reporting
    – Venture Center shall constitute a Program Oversight Committee (POC) for selection of grantees
    and to oversee the implementation of the project
    – The scope and extent of support to the grantee shall be decided on a case-to-case basis by POC
    – The  Project Leader shall periodically review projects and report the progress to the POC
