FAQs

Its really hard to define an ideal mentor as each individual has different skills that can be valuable for startups. Since this is an investment readiness program, we are looking at mentors who are part of the investing community or have previously raised funds in the order of Rs. 1-4 Cr or higher. Domain expertise in areas of healthcare is a plus

Each mentor will work on supporting 1-2 startups.

We will share the pitch decks and pitches of the startups with the mentors. The mentors can then submit a list of preference for the startups that they want to work with. The startups will be doing the same and we will try our best to accomodate all preferences for both the startups and the mentors.

We are expecting the mentors to contribute a minimum of 1 hour / week to work closely with the startups. Mentors are welcome to spend more time as appropriate with the startups.

We believe that giving back is a significantly rewarding process and by helping these startups, the mentors are promoting innovation to make the world a better place. There will be no monetary or equity based compensation for the duration of the program. The mentor may chose to get involved more deeply in the startup beyond the program and we leave that to the discretion of the startups and the mentors.
